Martha was very dear to me and I will miss her.  She was more than just my English teacher from back in middle school, she was a second mom and a devoted friend.  For the 20 years I knew Martha, she was always a constant source of cheer, hope, and optimism - perhaps that is what I will miss about her most.  She was always working towards some goal (usually to help others) and she encouraged me to define pursue my own goals.

I dont think that without Martha I would have had the same, good life that I have today.  Her guidance and advice early in my teen years helped shape me into the person I am today.  And I am better for it.

Thank you Martha for being my mentor, my "second mom", and my good friend.  I will really miss you.
